Landscape Architecture

Landscape architecture is the design of an outdoor area, ranging from a residential property to a landmark to a public park. Landscape architecture relies on many aspects to create an aesthetically pleasing overall look, including researching the terrain and knowledge of ecological sustainability. Landscape architects are well versed in botany and horticulture, in addition to architecture and design.

Landscape architecture involves many steps. First, analysis and research of the current area. We need to understand the environment we are working with. This is followed by working with you to plan a design that matches your overall vision. After the planning and designing are done, landscape architects manage the construction of the area. Landscape architects stay very involved in the entire duration of a project.

Landscape architects have a degree in landscape architecture and are licensed by the state they work in. They have experience with challenging site features, including creating irrigation and drainage systems, placing service lines and driveways, and building retaining walls.
